Hooked on Oatcakes!

This is my second Effie's order, after realizing I was hooked on these delicious treats!! Shipping was prompt and the oatcakes arrived in good condition. These oatcakes are outstanding!!

Just the yummiest!

A few years ago, a fellow musician introduced me to Effie’s oatcakes. My husband and I had first enjoyed oatcakes up in Cape Breton. I was hooked! They got me through the pandemic.

LOVE the oat cakes.

I treat myself to six boxes of oat cakes whenever there is a store wide sale. This past time, I also ordered six for my husband because he also loves them and I don’t like sharing mine! I’ve given variety packs as gifts so others can get to sample them.

These were much sweeter and rich tasting than I expected (in a good way)! They reminded me of butter cookies you get in the tins at Christmas time. But much higher quality!

I tried the oatcakes variety of Effie’s biscuits and I really enjoyed them. The flavor is subtle but definitely present, and the slight saltiness paired with the slight sweetness makes them addictive. I don’t drink coffee but I bet these would pair great!
