Gift Box - Sampler

I tried Effie's Homemade cocoa biscuits, and true to their advertising they are indeed "lightly sweet", which was my favorite thing about them. They are also a little bit crunchy, which I liked, and had a good cocoa flavor. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other varieties!

I fell in love with how good these biscuits taste, they were just like the Danish butter cookies we used to get out of the tin. The taste is balanced and having them with something salty on the side like cheese is the perfect combo. They are a bit high in calories so I couldn't allow myself to have too much but once in a while during gatherings with friends on a charcuterie board. They are perfect and I think they're good value for the price.

These were so good by themselves and with toppings. I added homemade whipped cream and strawberries. The perfect after dinner treat. Would definitely try other flavors.

These are definitely pricey and more gourmet than your regular biscuits but they are so delicious! The texture of the biscuits was very crunchy. And I like the creative flavors. I tried the cocoa one and really liked the strong cocoa flavor.

I always enjoy biscuits or biscotti cookies with my hot coffee on the weekends. These biscuits were crunchy and didn't get too soggy with coffee. Can't wait to try the other flavors!
