The Gruyère and black pepper biscuits are good to put on a cheese plate or to serve just plain as a snack. Great cheese flavor and not too sweet.

Too pepper forward, rather than Gruyere forward

I enjoy most all flavors of Effie’s products, but this one was a disappointment to me. Gruyere is my favorite cheese; but the pepper steals the show. And unlike my favorite oat version, this biscuit was much harder.
