It's Back-To-School Time!
Give them healthy snacks and pairings to get them through their days…
Beginning in the 1950s, Effie MacLellan used to make her family’s generations-old oatcake recipe from Nova Scotia for her own brood to bring to school or to fortify neighborhood kids before they headed off on their afternoon adventures. Wholesome biscuits that are lightly sweet with toasted oats and real butter, these treats always put a smile on the faces of Effie’s children and friends.
Today, Effie’s Homemade biscuits come in 9 delicious flavors, including kid-favorite Oatcakes and Cocoa Biscuits packaged in 22-biscuit packs and lunchbox-portable single serve portions of two biscuits each.
Pair with wedges of cheese, sliced meats, fruit, fresh veggies, jams or seed butter, Effie’s Homemade biscuits are a fun, creative, and easy way to provide your kids with a wholesome snack that will keep a smile on their faces—just as they did for Effie’s family and friends many years ago.
