White Chocolate Dipped Ginger Biscuits

This holiday ready recipe is perfect for a cookie decorating party or for packaging up and giving as a gift!

White Chocolate Dipped Ginger Biscuits

  • 1 pkg. Effie’s Ginger Biscuits
  • 1 c. white chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ T. unsalted butter
  • 1 orange, zested
  • 4 oz. bittersweet chocolate, shaved
  • 3 oz candied ginger, finely chopped

In a small to medium size bowl, add 1 cup of white chocolate chips and 1 1/2 T. unsalted butter (this helps prevent the white chocolate from seizing). Place the bowl into the microwave and cook at 50% for 30 seconds. Stir with a rubber spatula and then cook for another 30 seconds until fully melted.

Dip the Ginger Biscuit into the white chocolate, about halfway. Then place the biscuit onto a wire rack with parchment paper below it. Repeat this step with each biscuit.

Top biscuits with orange zest or shaved semi-sweet chocolate, and candied ginger as desired. Using the remaining melted chocolate, dip a small knife spreader into the chocolate and drizzle over the biscuits.

Set the biscuits out until the chocolate has hardened and enjoy!
