- 4 x brioche bread slices (day old)
- 1 pkg. of Effie's Almond Biscuits
- 1 egg
- ⅓ c. heavy cream
- ½ t. granulated sugar
- ½ t. vanilla extract
- ½ t. ground cinnamon
- Butter, melted
- Toppings: Maple syrup, mixed berries
Place Effie’s Homemade Almond Biscuits into a food processor and pulse until biscuits are medium fine.
Place the biscuits in a shallow dish and set aside.
In a medium shallow bowl, combine the egg, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract and ground cinnamon. Whisk thoroughly.
Place the biscuit dish and egg mixture bowl beside each other and dip each piece of brioche bread into the egg mixture, then into the biscuits. Ensure both sides are evenly coated in both mixtures.
Using a pastry brush, evenly brush each piece of bread with butter and air fry, toast or pan fry at 350F for 2-3 minutes on each side or until french toast is golden brown.
Remove from the air fryer or pan and place the french toast on a serving dish and top with mixed berries and maple syrup. Enjoy!
