Effie’s Homemade Raises its Biscuit Game


Nearly 18 years ago, friends Irene Costello and Joan MacIsaac set out on a culinary journey and launched Effie’s Homemade in Hyde Park. Cheese lovers quickly embraced their first crunchy creation, oat cakes — a buttery, lightly sweet and salty biscuit layered with toasty oats.
